Privacy policy

What we collect

• Anonymous usage analytics. We use PostHog and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and which manufacturer links get clicked. Both are cookieless: they set no cookies and use no browser storage, so we can't identify you.
• What you send us. If you join our filament waitlist (/our-filament) we store the email and city you provide. If you submit a manufacturer (/submit) or request a correction (/correction) we store that submission and the email you give us for follow-up. We never sell it or share it beyond operating the site.

Why we process analytics data

We rely on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for the anonymous, aggregated, cookieless analytics described above. Our interest is operating and improving a free public directory — including reporting aggregate click statistics to the manufacturers listed. The data is anonymous and aggregated, so the impact on your privacy is minimal. We deliberately chose cookieless, EU-hosted tooling (PostHog processes EU data in the EU) instead of cookie-based analytics precisely to keep this impact low.

Your choices and rights

• Analytics can be disabled in your browser via Do Not Track or by blocking the analytics scripts; the site works fully without them.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of anything you've submitted to us — email us and we'll take care of it.

Processors

Personal data is handled by Supabase (submissions), PostHog (analytics, EU region), and Cloudflare (hosting and Web Analytics), each under their data processing agreement: Cloudflare DPA, PostHog privacy & DPA, Supabase privacy.
